My Experiences: teaching younger siblings and younger cousins, particularly, in Maths and Science. Helping my peers with their concerns and questions, particularly, in Maths.
In my Lessons: I will aim to make the lessons more fun and interesting, in order for students to be more engaged and I will aim to use different teaching styles, for example, if a student does not understand something, I should be able to explain it in a different way, which should be able to make them understand.
My Qualities: I can be strict teaching wise but I can also be understanding to students if they need help mentally or academically and will try to help them when needed be. I will aim for my lessons to be a safe space for them, where they can voice their thoughts and concerns freely.
My Format: I will aim to make presentations via Google Slides or PowerPoint when teaching them and make quizzes to test them on their knowledge. I will also make worksheets via Word or Google Docs, where they will answer the questions and I will be able to understand which student requires more help or which student is on the right track. I will also make an Edexel spreadsheet to track their progress and pinpoint whether I am teaching correctly or if I should change my teaching style or approach. I will also allow students to anonymously tell me what they think about my lessons and teaching and if they would like to change anything.
