Hello there,

So here is a little something about my teaching methodology. I have a lot of teaching experience - from working as a physics and mathematics tutor at secondary schools, during my undergraduate studies, lecturing mathematics in polytechnic institutes after graduation, to working as a basic technology tutor during my National Youth Service Year; I have also undertaken a Montessori Training on different learning styles and methods for children. During that time, I volunteered to tutor some primary school students. My methodology starts with introducing myself and getting my learners to tell me about their learning goals, their highs and lows, how easily they have learnt in the past based on a particular learning style, and how eager they are about what they are going to learn. Students usually fall into one or more of these three learning styles: Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic learners. I try to ensure that I adopt the best learning style that suits my learners; everyone has at least one unique learning style that suits them the most.
I am never in a hurry as I believe foundational knowledge requires patience, and so I take my time to explain the foundations and intricacies of a subject. For me, consistency in practice is the key, not just passion or desire, and so I try to pass this ideology to my learners too.

Learning can really be fun with the right mindset and methodology! ;)
