I possess a strong foundation in teaching and mentoring, with experience as a Basic Science Tutor at Miketery International School, Enugu. In this role, I simplified complex topics, supported students’ learning needs, and created an engaging classroom environment. This experience helped me develop the ability to communicate abstract concepts clearly; a skill that is crucial for teaching Mathematics effectively.

My background in Microbiology and current pursuit of an MSc in Management in Health and Social Care at Oxford Brookes University have strengthened my analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, which align well with the logical and structured nature of Mathematics. I am also proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms), and digital communication tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams; enabling me to plan lessons, manage student data, and deliver interactive sessions effectively.

In my teaching approach, I adopt a student-centered and practical method. I strive to make Mathematics engaging by connecting lessons to real-life applications and using step-by-step demonstrations that build students’ confidence. I encourage participation through group tasks, visual aids, and interactive exercises that develop logical reasoning and critical thinking.

I also prioritize feedback and motivation, ensuring students understand their progress and areas for improvement. By fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, I help each learner feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas.

Overall, my teaching philosophy centers on patience, clarity, and consistency. My goal is to not only improve students’ mathematical performance but also to nurture confidence, curiosity, and a genuine enjoyment for learning.
