Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Idara, and I’m an Early Years and Elementary Educator with a deep passion for helping children fall in love with numbers. For over 10 years, I’ve been guiding young learners to see math not as something scary, but as something they can truly enjoy and feel confident about. I believe that when we understand why things work, not just how, our confidence soars — and that’s what I aim for in every lesson. Seeing the spark in a child’s eyes when they finally “get it” is the best reward for me as a teacher.

My lessons are full of life, laughter, and learning. I blend real-life examples, games, and storytelling to make math meaningful and memorable. Every child learns differently, so I take time to understand your unique pace, strengths, and learning style.

I focus on: Building understanding, encouraging curiosity and problem-solving, celebrating small wins to grow confidence and making learning fun, warm, and stress-free. Also, I use gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement because I believe confidence is the real foundation for success in numeracy.

Each session typically lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour — just long enough to explore, practice, and enjoy without feeling overwhelmed. Lessons will always be engaging, relaxed, and structured around your focus level.
