Lessons won’t be too school-like and intimidating. They’ll be centered around what the student finds the most challenging. We will spend time consolidating the students understanding on self-identified weaknesses points and also revise topics that they may not need as much help with. We will use free, online resources such as physics and maths tutor worksheets to help students practice maths questions. When mistakes are identified in a student’s working, I will clearly outline the mistake and demonstrate to the student how to answer the question and teach them the necessary skills required to answer similar questions. To ensure that they have understood, I will have the student try similar questions and monitor their approach.
