I have tutored two maths GCSE students who both made very notable progress recognised by myself, parents and teachers.
I am a gap year student and I have recently completed my Alevels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I am looking for a part time tutoring job as I love teaching and I love working with kids. I am a professional and reliable person and like to see kids learn and excel in things which they thought they could not.

I have a wide variety of teaching methods which I have picked up on as I was revising for my exams. I mostly explain the content in an engaging way and recap knowledge before moving on to the next chapter. I take into consideration the best learning style for each student and am able to adapt my lessons accordingly to ensure everyone receives efficient teaching. I also regularly recap random knowledge throughout the course to ensure the information is retained; this would most likely be through exam practice questions as higher grades are impossible to achieve without this. My methods worked for my friends and for my younger sisters and they have complimented me saying I have a natural gift for teaching.

I also provide students with a whiteboard and any materials such as books to keep track of their work and I regularly set homework after every session to ensure the students course runs smoothly. Students are able to message outside lesson hours if they have any questions or require any additional help and I will get back to them in my free time.
