I am a student on a gap year who has achieved an A* in Mathematics Alevel and an A in Further Mathematics Alevel. I am keen to pass on my knowledge and explain mathematical concepts in ways that truly help you to understand them and not only learn how to use specific formulas is specific scenarios. I believe that for a student to be able to score high in maths exams, it isn’t enough to just know the content and feel comfortable answering specific questions; you have to genuinely understand the maths with which you are working and be able to apply it in question scenarios that you may not have necessarily come across before. Due to my recent experience with Alevel and GCSE maths I am very confident and comfortable with all the content and have previously tutored GCSE maths with all 4 of my students achieving grades 8 or above. I am happy to tutor students of all abilities and will definitely help to increase your grades over time. For our first sessions I would like to hear from you what your main struggles are and where you feel you are losing out on most of your marks so that I can be aware of what you want to focus on. After that i will tailor our sessions towards said weaknesses, beginning with basics and working our way up to the most complex questions you can get so that you are ready for any question that comes your way. I will also set homework every session which i will check and go through with you in every session. I look forward to helping you achieve what you are truly capable.
