My lessons are interactive and student-led. I encourage learners to ask questions and to interrupt me mid-explanation if they are confused or want to ask me something, as understanding always comes before pace. Rather than simply explaining content and moving on, I like to work through exercises collaboratively so that students can see different approaches to a problem and challenge themselves along the way. I tailor each session to the individual student's needs and pace, ensuring that my student genuinely understands the material before progressing.
I cover Maths from Primary Key Stage 1 level up to GCSE level and have been tutoring SAT Maths on schoolhouse.world since January, where I have designed my own slideshows and problem sets and received verified 'super-helpful' ratings from multiple students. I am a Year 13 student at the French Lycée with 4 predicted A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and French, a grade 9 in GCSE Maths, and an offer to study Economics and Statistics at UCL. Being bilingual in English and French, I am also able to support students who are more comfortable working in French.
Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the guitar, flying gliders, travelling and exploring different cuisines. I have a real passion for current events and aviation, and I think my curiosity and varied interests make me an engaging and enthusiastic tutor who can bring a fresh perspective to lessons. I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in Maths, which I think is the best subject and would love to help your child reach their potential.
