I am a CELTA-qualified English tutor with a strong academic background in English Language. I am passionate about helping learners build confidence, clarity, and independence in English, whether for everyday communication, academic study, or professional purposes.

Coming from a family of educators, teaching feels very natural to me. I am known for my calm, supportive manner and clear explanations, and I aim to create lessons that are engaging, well-structured, and tailored to each learner’s needs. I enjoy working with learners from a wide range of backgrounds and value the cultural exchange that language learning brings.

My teaching approach is learner-centred, communicative, and structured. Each lesson has clear aims and logical staging, with plenty of opportunities for students to practise language in meaningful contexts. I focus on helping learners understand not just what to say, but why and how English works, especially with grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I have been praised for my strong lesson planning, clear language clarification, effective feedback, and a kind, supportive classroom presence.

I adapt lessons carefully to the learner’s level, goals, and learning style, providing clear explanations, guided discovery where appropriate, and supportive, constructive feedback. I place strong emphasis on confidence-building, accuracy, and real-world usability, and I aim to create a relaxed environment where learners feel comfortable making progress at their own pace. Lessons can be delivered online or face-to-face and are always tailored to the individual.
