My lessons are structured, supportive and designed to build both confidence and results. As a qualified secondary school teacher with experience teaching GCSE PE, Health & Social Care and KS3 core subjects, I understand exactly what exam boards expect and how to help students reach their target grades.
Sessions typically start with a quick recap and assessment of prior learning, followed by clear explanations, guided practice and exam-style questions. I break down complex topics into simple steps, use real-life examples to aid understanding, and model answers so students know what high-quality work looks like. We regularly practise exam technique, command words and time management to help students maximise marks.
I adapt every lesson to the individual. Some students need help building knowledge, others need structure, confidence or organisation. I provide tailored resources, revision plans and ongoing feedback so progress is clear and measurable. For coursework units, I also support planning, structure and improving grades safely within guidelines.
My approach is calm, encouraging and consistent, with high expectations and strong relationships at the centre. As a former Assistant Head of House, I’m experienced in motivating learners of all abilities and helping students who may feel stuck or underconfident.
My goal is simple: help every student feel capable, prepared and proud of their progress.
