Hi! I'm Hudson, a final year Electronic Engineering student at the University of Surrey. I have spent time working for a Fortune 500 company in an Electronic Engineering department, spending lots of time working on complex problems, giving me a deep understanding of the real world applications of everything I've been taught. I'm also a scholarship student at the uni through the UKESF program, which has allowed me to really hone my skills and focus on the topics I love.
I have a real passion for teaching, and love to share my skills and experiences to pass down my knowledge and support the next generation. I specialise in Electronics, Mathematics, and Computing, with a strong background in both the theory and practical side of these subjects. I enjoy helping students build confidence by breaking topics down into clear, easy-to-follow steps.
- In Maths, I can support students across the GCSE curriculum, from algebra and geometry to trigonometry and problem-solving. I focus on explaining methods in a straightforward way and giving plenty of practice so students feel prepared and confident in exams.
- In Computing, I can help with programming, logical thinking, and understanding how computer systems work. I aim to make coding and problem-solving less intimidating by showing how the skills connect to real-world examples.
- With Electronics and Physics topics, I guide students through circuit design, electricity, and related areas of science in a clear and practical way. I enjoy showing how these subjects link together, making learning more engaging and relevant.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, with a focus on building clear understanding and problem-solving skills. I aim to break down complex concepts in electronics and maths into simple, manageable steps, using real-world examples to make the topics engaging and relevant. Whether you’re preparing for GCSEs or A-Levels, I’ll help you strengthen your foundation, boost your confidence, and develop effective strategies for tackling exams and coursework.
Above all, my goal is to help students not just pass their exams but also feel motivated and confident in their learning. I'm also an avid electric guitar player — I've been in several bands and have played to a lot of people over the last few years all across the south of the UK! Any questions for me, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
