My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and deeply personal to each student’s needs. Every session is built around open communication, practical learning, and self-reflection, helping students build the mindset, confidence, and life skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. I start by getting to know each student their strengths, challenges, and goals so I can tailor the lessons to suit their personality and aspirations. From there, I create a mix of activities such as guided discussions, goal-setting exercises, role-play scenarios, and mindfulness techniques to make learning both enjoyable and effective. Drawing on my experience working in a nursery, a pharmacy, and as an NHS volunteer, I bring a unique blend of care, structure, and real-world understanding to my sessions. My time in a nursery taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and creativity when helping others learn. Working in a pharmacy strengthened my communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills, which I use to help students think clearly, stay calm under pressure, and make confident decisions. My volunteer experience with the NHS gave me a deep appreciation for empathy, teamwork, and emotional wellbeing, all of which are central to my teaching style. Each lesson aims to empower students to believe in themselves, manage challenges calmly, and develop the tools to lead balanced, fulfilling lives. I want my students to walk away from every session feeling supported, inspired, and ready to take positive action toward their goals, knowing that every small step they take brings them closer to success and self-growth.
