My lessons will revolve around whatever it is you lack confidence in! For example, I’m more than happy to focus on course content, answer structure or writing style according to your needs.

For improving course content understanding, there are multiple methods we could employ. Flash cards or fact sheets would be a key example of this. During sessions, we could research and create these recourses, as well as use them to revise once they’re completed.

For improving answer structure and writing style, I will be willing to mark any essays written by students, as well as go through essay answers and suggest improvements. We will also heavily rely on the specific marking criteria of the examinations boards students are using. This will help us pin point specific structures that will easily allow students to hit all the requirements for top level answers.

If students are looking to apply to university, I’m also more than willing to offer assistance with personal statements. As a Cambridge university student, I have access to a number of successful Cambridge university personal statements that I can share as inspiration.

Additionally, I am also able to give advice and information on the Cambridge interview process and potentially conduct Geography mock interviews!

As for my own background, I have studied both English literature and Geography for GCSE and A level. At GCSE I received a 9 in each subject, and at A level I received an A* for each. I also still have recourses and revision notes from my preparation for all of these exams which I’m more than willing to share!
