Holly Hanson

Hi there! I love to teach people new things and to grow their confidence in the English language. I have a lot of experience working with younger children, so I make sure that my lessons are fun and engaging. As a creative writing student, I love studying literature, and I incorporate written texts into my lessons, ones that we can read and analyse together. I will work closely with you to set any goals that you are wanting to achieve, and I welcome as much feedback as possible so that you feel the format of the lessons is tailored and helpful to you. I am hoping to start a career in teaching after my Masters so this is a huge passion of mine! My goal for any student is that they feel proficient in conversational English, so I will deliver the lessons in a direct, English-only format. I will be making easy-to-understand PowerPoints, which will guide the structure of the lessons, and ultimately lead you to an ease and confidence in the language. I would also love to teach the culture and history of England, if any students find that useful in their quest to learn English.
