I am a qualified primary and secondary teacher, university lecturer, trainer and assessor with extensive experience teaching children, teenagers and adults across a variety of educational settings.
My lessons are engaging, supportive and tailored to the individual needs of each learner. I believe that confidence is one of the most important ingredients for success, so I focus on creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their skills.
For school-aged students, I provide structured lessons that strengthen understanding, improve study habits and build confidence in key subject areas. I break down difficult concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps and adapt my teaching style to suit each student's learning preferences.
For adult learners, I bring extensive experience from vocational education, workplace training and higher education. I have taught and assessed students in community services, youth justice, early childhood education and related fields through TAFEs, universities and Registered Training Organisations. I understand the challenges faced by adult learners balancing study, work and family commitments and provide practical support to help them succeed.
My lessons may include guided learning, discussion, problem-solving activities, exam or assessment preparation, study skills development and personalised feedback. Whether you are a primary school student, high school student, university student or adult learner looking to develop professionally, my goal is to help you build confidence, achieve your goals and enjoy the learning process.
