Henry Okorie

Hello! I’m Henry Okorie, an experienced Mathematics tutor with over 5 years of teaching across online and classroom settings. I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education, a TRCN teaching license, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

My lessons are calm, supportive and student-centered. I believe every learner can understand Maths when it is explained clearly and connected to real-life thinking. I focus on helping students build confidence, not just solve problems.

Each lesson begins with a short review to understand the learner’s current level. I then introduce new concepts gradually, using step-by-step explanations, examples and guided practice. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas and explain their reasoning. This helps them develop real understanding that stays with them.

I use digital tools such as Zoom, OpenBoard, Moodle and Kahoot to make learning engaging and interactive. There is always a balance of explanation, practice and feedback, so progress is steady and noticeable.
