We start from definition of the concepts. After definition using real life examples to explain the concepts. A little evaluation is done to ascertain if knowledge has been acquired. Highlighting similarities and clarifying differences.
Discussing the features or characteristics of the specific concept. If the content has to be solved mathematically then we can start from the simple to the complex.
All the teaching skills such as stimulus variations, planned repetition, questioning, use of examples, explanation, demonstration, evaluation and closure are emphasized depending on the content.

For instance when teaching demand and supply of money, we break down the concepts which are demand, supply before bringing it to money.
Definition of terms such demand for money and as well supply of money , narrowing it down to motives for holding money which are the speculative, transactional, precautionary and business motives. From there we can now discuss inflation and Deflation as well stating the causes and how they can be curbed . We can't discuss demand and supply of money without involving the Central Bank which is the apex bank, stating its function we can now discuss Fiscal and monetary policies, as well discussing how the government can use these policies to stabilize the supply of money and as well bring economic growth and development.
