I believe that learning should be fun and engaging for learning to be effective as if students have positive feelings around the subject they are more likely to learn. Having a student eager to partake in lessons and ask questions for me is an key element for a student to develop their understanding of a subject.

As from personal experience I used to hate many of my subjects but after having absolutely fantastic teachers I love the subjects. Which is why I believe that teachers are some of the most important parts of learning.

For experience I have done work experience at my primary school working with children ages 4+
And I am currently doing a leadership program that teaches martial arts to students of all ages and all skill levels.

For my lesson plans depending on the length of the sessions the structure will be to start off with discussing the sessions content. The following on with a in depth and easy to follow explanation of the lessons subject. Then going through questions providing assistance when needed (this will take up majorityof the session). To finish the session will be to plan for the next sessions content if there is another session.

I try to be a easy to approach and talk to so students aren't afriad to ask questions so they are able to improve there skills and not feel ashamed for not knowing everything about the subject so that by the end of the session they have learnt or made progression in the chosen subject.
