My teaching style is based on real communication and meaningful situations, using mainly the Communicative and Task-Based Learning approaches. My learners practice the language through interaction, games and activities that reflect the everyday use of English. I always ensure that lessons are practical and tailored to the learners’ personal and professional goals, and focus on strong grammar and vocabulary skills within that context. Each lesson is adapted to the learning styles of the students, and I aim to create a supportive environment that helps them feel at ease, and motivated to learn.
I have experience working with multinational companies (Deloitte, IBA, Toyota), diplomatic missions, small start-ups in business and presentation-based English, as well as with jobseekers and new arrivals to the UK. I have also worked with individuals looking to improve their English with personal goals in mind. I have experience teaching both online and face-to-face, and with CEFR level A1 to C2. My approach is flexible: I work at the student's pace and design fun, varied lessons to keep them motivated. Together, we set clear goals and revisit them regularly to ensure steady progress.
I bring strong expertise in creating learning materials and assessments for EFL, gained through my work as a pedagogical quality advisor at an international language school. In addition, I have a background in conference interpreting, having spent ten years working within the United Nations system, and I have delivered public speaking workshops for diplomatic staff.
