Hi, my name is Helen. I have over 20 years of experience in fashion design and design management. I have worked across numerous fields of design, from menswear, home wear, ladieswear, essentials and kidswear.

With over twenty years of experience in design leadership, currently contributing as a freelance design director and mentor to aspiring fashion professionals. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to enhance customer engagement by delivering on-trend designs and streamlining processes with suppliers. Skilled in collaborative problem solving, presenting creative concepts, and advocating for cohesive design strategies. Passionate about empowering the next generation of talent through mentoring, with a focus on career development and portfolio guidance. Dedicated to fostering innovation and inclusivity within the fashion industry.

While studying at MMU, I was lucky enough to be selected for the Gala show where Fashion Journalist Hillary Alexander and Alexander McQueen. It was such a rewarding time.

It was a great place to work collaboratively with the other areas in electives.
