If your child finds Maths frustrating, confusing, or intimidating, I am here to help change that narrative. I firmly believe that Maths should never be about silently memorising strict rules from a textbook; it is essentially a series of fun puzzles waiting to be solved. As a recent Data Science graduate with a strong focus on Statistics, and an incoming Master's student this September, numbers are practically my second language. Because I am actively in the education system studying advanced topics myself, I know exactly what it feels like to learn new, difficult concepts from scratch. I use this relatable, fresh perspective to connect with younger students, showing them that learning can be a rewarding and exciting process.

My lessons are designed specifically for primary and early secondary school children, which means patience, positive reinforcement, and a low-pressure environment are my absolute top priorities. A typical session will start with a quick, fun warm-up to build up your child's confidence, followed by tackling our main topic for the day. We won't just stare at boring worksheets. Instead, I will heavily rely on visual aids, drawings, and relatable real-world examples, like slicing pizzas to understand fractions, or using everyday objects for arithmetic, to make abstract numbers make sense.

Together, we will focus deeply on building a rock-solid mathematical foundation. Whether your child needs help with basic numeracy, mastering their times tables, or understanding fractions, I will break every single problem down into bite-sized, manageable steps. I actively encourage students to ask as many questions as they need to! I offer flexible, engaging lessons online or in-person in the Bushey area.
