No two students are the same, and because of this I tailor each tutorial session based on the needs of the student and their goals. Tutorial sessions will often focus heavily on past papers examination questions, with step by step guide on how to answer the question. Homework shall also be given after each tutorial session to be completed for the next tutorial.
On topics that a student struggles with (identified either via past papers, homework or by the student them-self) I shall offer short informal lectures, including key definitions, equations and schematics required to understand the topic at hand (indeed I often find schematics are an underappreciated tool for use in chemistry exams and one I will ensure to equip my students with).
I am incredibly relaxed; my goal will always be to ensure that the student reaches their own desired goals. Tutorial sessions will follow a structured format as described above however, they will always have an informal-relaxed atmosphere (tense and stressful atmospheres are often alienate students and are the biggest road blocks to learning – therefore will NEVER be found at my tutorials).
