I offer supportive, encouraging and personalised sessions designed to help students build confidence, motivation and positive study habits in a calm and non-judgemental environment.
Alongside academic and mentoring support, I also help students navigate periods of change and uncertainty. Whether that’s transitioning into a new school or college, preparing for exams, dealing with confidence challenges, managing pressure, building independence or adapting to changes in life circumstances.
My approach focuses on helping students feel more emotionally resilient, capable and confident in themselves.
I have experience supporting neurodivergent students, including students with autism, and understand the importance of creating a safe, patient and adaptable learning environment. I recognise that every student processes information, communicates and responds differently, so I tailor sessions to suit the individual’s needs, strengths and comfort levels. My aim is always to help students feel understood, supported and empowered rather than pressured.
Each session is personalised to the student’s needs and personality. Depending on the student, sessions may include:
- confidence and self-esteem building
- support through change and transitions
- emotional regulation and coping strategies
- motivation and accountability
- study planning and organisation
- communication and problem-solving skills
- goal setting and mindset support
- creating healthy routines and structure
- support with anxiety, overwhelm and self-confidence
My work as a Specialist Learning Mentor within further education gave me experience supporting young people from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. My background in mentoring, counselling psychology and coaching allows me to create a supportive space where students feel comfortable, understood and motivated to progress.
My sessions are calm, positive and student-led while still providing structure, encouragement and practical strategies to help students move forward with greater confidence — both academically and personally.
I believe every student learns differently, and my goal is to help each individual feel more capable, confident and supported in both their education and personal growth.
