We will begin our initial session with an overview of the medical interview and its purpose. Once we have understood it's role,  we will then focus on a general recipe and approach to interview questions in the beginning of the lesson, which you can apply to any question thrown at you. This will last 10-12 minutes. 

Next, we will tackle 4 common medical school interview questions. We will work through each of these together and use the techniques and principles previously discussed to formulate an answer that allows you to highlight your own experience and merit. This will last ~28 minutes. 

We will conclude our initial session with a brief recap and then discuss any specific questions or address any troubleshooting. 

Future lessons are a combination of tailored coaching, additional interview simulations and scenarios, and revisiting the common topics so you can ace the most important questions.

My belief is that practice makes perfect, so our sessions will provide you the opportunity to practice your responses to questions, build your confidence, and receive live feedback. After reviewing your responses to common questions we will discuss their strengths and weaknesses, before revisiting these topics with renewed confidence and structure.

My lesson plan is based on my experience undertaking several medical school interviews myself, my employment as a professional university interviewer, and my foundation training in the NHS. This has allowed me to understand the medical school interview from multiple angles and I will utilise the full scope of my perspective to help show you precisely what the examiner is looking for in potential candidates.
