My lessons are friendly, engaging and completely tailored to the individual student. I begin by identifying their strengths, gaps in learning and areas where they may lack confidence, then build sessions around their specific needs and goals.

Lessons combine clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice and independent challenges, with regular opportunities to check understanding. I encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes and explain their thinking, helping them develop confidence as well as academic skills.

With around 10 years’ experience in primary education and private tutoring since 2016, I can support Maths and English across KS1 and KS2, SATs and entrance exam preparation, as well as GCSE Mathematics. As an Assistant Headteacher, SENDCO and Mathematics Lead, I also have extensive experience adapting learning for children with SEND and those who may need concepts presented in different ways.

Above all, my lessons are positive and encouraging. I want students to finish each session feeling that they have achieved something and are more confident than when they started.
