Harriet Rees

I am incredibly passionate and enthused about great education reaching all students. I find great fulfilment in creating inclusive learning environments where every student feels valued, understood, and capable of success.

I can provide lessons online as well as in person via a range of different formats. These include online, using IT, or in a more practical sense.

My lessons are engaging and designed to get the best out of any student I am working with. I have over 13 years experience in education so I am able to tailor my lessons to suit the needs of any learner. I can adapt learning and use of resources to suit the needs of student and can incorporate their likes into my planning.

My background has equipped me with the ability to identify barriers to learning and implement targeted interventions with great success. This includes identifying gaps in learning that need to be supported as part of exam preparation. This also includes working with students to boost their confidence and giving them general primary level support across any curriculum area.

I am friendly, approachable, patient and motivated to succeed alongside the learner. I believe learning should be fun!

I have worked as a class teacher across most primary ages and as a Reception Teacher. I have also worked as an Assistant Headteacher, Behaviour and Safeguarding Lead, and SENCO so understand great planning and exciting and engaging lessons mean success!
