Harmanpreet Kaur

I am a Modern Languages graduate from University of Birmingham with a degree classification of 2:1 and minors in English language, French and Italian. My first languages are Italian, Punjabi and English and I studied French at University. I spent a year abroad in France and will train to become a French teacher starting from September 2023.

My past experiences include working as teaching assistant for one year in Paris (France) where I taught English as a foreign language. I also worked as an English assistant teacher in China, teaching English as a foreign language in a language learning centre for adults. Currently I work as an exam officer and also as a 1-1 SENA support worker and teaching assistant in secondary schools across the Birmingham area.

My online classes will have a clear structure outlined at the start of each lesson. I will make presentations and any additional resources and/or materials will be provided at the start of every lesson (such as the PowerPoint presentations or any PDF or words worksheets). The lessons will focus on one topic at a time as requested and the objectives and outcomes will be reached by the end. A short time will also be left at the end, to answer any of the questions students may have or any extra clarifications regarding the lesson.
