I am a motivated A Level Student currently finishing my final year doing A Level Chemistry, I have received help and assistance from maths tutors in the past from which I learned effective strategies in teaching Mathematics. I aim to cover weak spots in learning and practice going off board specific specifications to ensure every part of the course is revised well and effectively. I can teach effective exam technique and demonstrate the best way to answer questions if needed. To me understanding the format of the exam and where questions are likely to appear is the most important thing in terms of time usage, by developing a clear understanding of this I am confident students will be able to shed vital moments of time that will aid them in answering the harder to access questions which have high expectations in content knowledge and technique. Initially I plan to see where a student is at using a RAG indicator which lists all the topics and first start targeting weakest ones until the student is confident in answering with decent pace. I will help strengthen their skills through demonstration and explanation of concepts and then with targeted practice to see where the student can improve their method which will overall help them excel in the final exam.
