My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether they are looking to improve their grades, prepare for exams, strengthen their understanding of a particular topic or simply become more confident in the subject.

At the beginning, I like to understand the student’s current level, identify any areas they find challenging and discuss what they would like to achieve. I can then structure lessons around these areas and adapt my teaching style to suit how they learn best.

Lessons will usually involve a combination of clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice and independent questions. I encourage students to explain their reasoning and attempt problems themselves, rather than simply giving them the answer. If they get stuck, I will guide them through the problem step-by-step and help them understand where they went wrong.

For GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry, I can cover individual topics, help with revision and provide practice with exam-style questions. I can also focus on exam technique, identifying common mistakes and developing effective revision strategies.

I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that making mistakes is an important part of learning, and I want students to leave each lesson feeling that they understand something better than they did before.

My overall aim is to make lessons engaging and productive while helping students develop both their knowledge and confidence.
