My lessons are designed to be engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I teach online from home using interactive tools such as screen sharing, digital whiteboards, and past exam resources to make learning clear and practical. Each session typically begins with a short recap of previous material to check understanding, before moving into focused teaching on specific topics from the A-level syllabus (microeconomics and macroeconomics).
I will make sure to break down complex theories into simple, logical steps, often linking them to real-world examples such as current economic events, policy changes, or market behaviour. This helps students not only understand the theory but also develop the analytical and evaluative skills needed for higher-mark exam questions.
I also dedicate time to practising exam technique, including how to structure essays, interpret data, and use key terminology effectively. Having studied A-level Economics myself and achieved strong results, I understand the challenges students face and aim to build their confidence with personalised guidance and clear strategies for improvement.
Above all, my lessons are interactive and supportive, encouraging students to ask questions and think critically, so they leave each session with greater clarity and confidence. I also adapt my teaching style depending on whether a student learns best visually, verbally, or through practice, making sure each lesson suits them. Over time, I work to develop independent learning skills, so students feel fully prepared for both exams and further study. My goal is to make lessons enjoyable, motivational, and focused on long-term academic success.
