I began tutoring by helping a GCSE Mathematics student improve from a Grade 7 to a Grade 9 and a GCSE Physics student progress from a Grade 5 to a Grade 8. I continue to support both students at A-level, helping them prepare for exams while also guiding them through university applications.

Through my experience, I have learned that every student learns differently. As a result, I tailor each lesson to suit the individual student's learning style, strengths, and goals. Some students benefit most from working through exam-style questions and applying concepts immediately, while others prefer to build detailed notes and a strong theoretical understanding before tackling practice questions. I adapt my approach accordingly to maximise progress and confidence.

Lessons are delivered online via Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. I share my screen and use a tablet to write explanations, worked examples, and notes in real time. I encourage students to work alongside me using pen and paper, actively explaining their thought process and reasoning. This interactive approach helps develop both subject knowledge and problem-solving skills, ensuring students gain a deeper understanding rather than simply memorising methods.
