Growing up I loved English but I did not enjoy English classes! They were often boring. I prioritise learning through engagement. Reading and writing can be fun and you can learn while enjoying yourself.
I offer classes where you can progress positively in an environment which is judgement free and adaptable to your personal experience.
If you’re bored with ‘Of Mice and Men’ then we will discover it in a whole new light whether that be visual, auditory, reflective and so on.
The most important part is that you tell me what it is you struggle to get on board with and we will work it out together!

Sometimes students feel as though they lack imagination. I believe that in school their minds often aren’t stimulated in a creative way. Too much information is being crammed in 6 hours.
In my tutor classes we will find that creative buzz - everyone has it! Just because it isn’t writing a short story doesn’t mean you aren’t creative or imaginative. You can have explore your ideas here and we will channel them into your work.

These are student focussed classes - not curriculum oriented. By this, I mean that while we study the curriculum and we hone in on what you are learning in class, we do so in such a way that appeals to your learning abilities.
