Every student learns differently, yet many school environments aren’t designed to adapt to individual strengths and learning styles. My approach to tutoring focuses on exactly that: the individual.

In my lessons, I work closely with each student’s exam board, syllabus, and set texts, tailoring sessions to what they are studying in class. I focus not only on the questions being asked, but on the unasked ones: building understanding, confidence, and independent thinking alongside exam technique.

With experience tutoring GCSE, A-Level, and 11+ pupils, I have worked with a wide range of students and abilities. No two lessons are the same – each session is designed specifically around the student’s needs and goals. Together, we measure progress through mock exams, practice essays, and wider reading, ensuring steady and tangible improvement.

I am particularly passionate about supporting students with Autism and ADHD. I understand that sitting still for an hour can be difficult, and I create a relaxed, flexible learning environment where fidget toys and movement breaks are always welcome. In our introductory lesson, I encourage every pupil to explain how they learn best, and I adapt my teaching to suit them.

Alongside academic tutoring, I also offer support with university applications, including personal statements and interview preparation.
