Depending on the lesson, I aim to incorporate interactive learning into my sessions, taking pride on creating an effective and engaging tutoring experience for Primary level students (5-11), with experience across all Year groups and with experience in specialist SEND settings and incorporating teaching strategies adopted from my ITT Teacher Training experience to support all learners with finding a love of learning and adopting independence, resilience and excitement in their own learning.

With in-person sessions you can experience a friendly and warm welcome, with time to understand the student, their understanding of content, and delivering a tailored approach with adaptive strategies to breakdown complex concepts to support comprehension. With online sessions, I use various websites, such as KAPOW, to create an interactive learning environment which is outside of the standard pencil and paper method.

I think that tailoring content to specific ages and subjects is vital to ensuring the most of the sessions, and ensuring that content that is learnt, stays.
