Are you looking for clear explanations, personalised support, and engaging lessons that actually help you understand the subject? I offer tutoring designed to make complex topics approachable and enjoyable to learn.
I have several years of tutoring experience, having supported students of various ages (5-20 years) in different subjects.
Alongside this, I recently completed an MSc in Neuroscience at King’s College London, where I developed strong skills in explaining scientific concepts clearly and effectively. My background means I can provide not only subject knowledge, but also strategies for studying, problem-solving, and building long-term confidence.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and preferred way of learning. We’ll start by figuring out your strengths and the areas you’d like to improve, then put together a plan for the next few weeks. Usually, we’ll begin by making sure the basics are clear, and then move into a more practical stage — working through exercises, past papers, and discussing the material together.
I like lessons to feel interactive, so I always encourage you to ask questions and think out loud. That way, we can catch misunderstandings early and make sure you really understand the concepts, not just memorise them.
I aim to keep the balance between challenge and support: enough difficulty to keep you moving forward, but always in a positive and encouraging way. Depending on your style, we can go step-by-step, use visual aids, or tackle problems in a more hands-on way. I can also share revision strategies, exam techniques, and tips for breaking down tough topics into smaller, more manageable pieces.
Most importantly, I want lessons to feel useful and motivating. The goal is not just to get through the material, but to help you build confidence and enjoy the progress you’re making.
