I have been an English tutor for 8 years. I’m patient and adaptive; I can simplify complex topics or dive deeper for advanced learners. English can be a complex subject, as there is often no single “right” or “wrong” answer. My lessons are designed to help students gain confidence in all areas of English, whether that’s developing time management skills for exams, working on writing prompts and techniques for creative and poetry sections, or analysing set texts in depth.

My teaching approach is interactive and tailored to each student’s needs. Lessons are combined with independent study, and I am happy to mark and provide detailed feedback on any work completed outside of lessons. This ensures that learning continues between sessions and that students can track their progress over time.
