I offer tutoring to ages between 6-16. Being a student myself, I am completely aware of the pressures of education and aim to help you gain a better understanding of subject specifications!
Helping with homework, going through past examination papers, formulating revision plans, reviewing in school sessions are all methods I will use to ensure you leave with the best understanding of your subject. The lessons will be tailored and delivered in a way that suits you best! Taking into account the most effective methods that help you understand the specification at your own pace!
Working with students over a year long period, I have gathered the most effective methods that result in revision efficacy. Being a student myself and someone who sat GCSEs within the last 5 years, I am familiar with the exam style, possible questions and the new specification of GCSE exams that entails content completely different to what teachers in schools were examined on during GCSEs.
I have the upmost understanding of students who may not thrive in a school environment but have zero doubt that with the right support and with the assistance of someone who can guarantee undivided academic attention to the student rather than a group setting, everyone is able achieve all the academic goals they have set for themselves and flourish in school.
I have previous tutoring experience working with primary and secondary school students and ultimately aim to make my sessions a safe space for you to ask however many questions you need so you can sit exams with confidence !
