My teaching philosophy is one of clarity and identification. The first step I require all students to do before hand is to provide me with a list of topics which you want to focus the bulk of our sessions on. This allows me to personalise a learning plan for your unique needs and save time for both parties.

Once complete, we tackle each topic one by one. For each topic, we find the exact point your understanding of the subject breaks down through a series of questions and prompts. These will serve as the introductions to our sessions and guide the main focus of our sessions

Following that, I will explain the concepts using simple to understand terms, keeping in mind where your weaknesses are to allow for a deep understanding of what was missing. I will use examples and provide questions of varying difficulty to illustrate the concepts in a practical way.

Next, we will do plenty of practice and exam style questions. No amount of explanations substitute practice questions since this is where your knowledge will be solidified. I'll be there in person to answer any queries, mark the questions in real time and provide feedback to help you improve at an accelerated rate.

The main benefit will be the questions you can ask me. As your personal tutor I am there to see you win. I encourage you to step forward with any misconceptions you still have, no matter how small or silly it may seem. The more honest you are with me, the more I can guide you to success.
