Hamish Ironside

I am a 3rd-year medical student at the University of Manchester. I love learning - the best part of studying medicine is having the opportunity to use our knowledge of the human body, its biology and chemistry and apply it to help others! I am passionate about biology and chemistry and promise to share this passion with my students!

GCSEs and A levels are tough, especially the sciences. They require sound knowledge and an ability to apply it to exam questions in a timely manner. This means having a good exam technique. These are skills that can be taught.

My lessons will be structured in a way that allows students to develop their understanding of key topics before applying this knowledge to exam questions.

We will also spend extra time going through areas of weakness as well as helping with revision for upcoming tests or exams.
