My lessons are personalised to each student’s level, goals and learning style. I usually combine vocabulary, grammar, speaking and discussion activities, with plenty of opportunities to practise Korean in real-life situations.

With around two years of teaching experience, I have delivered 200+ one-to-one Korean lessons to students from a range of nationalities, age groups and proficiency levels. This has helped me develop a flexible and adaptable teaching style, allowing me to adjust the pace, explanations and activities depending on each student’s needs.

I also create my own visual learning materials using Canva and AI-assisted tools, making lessons clear, engaging and easy to follow. For complete beginners, I focus on pronunciation, basic grammar and useful everyday expressions. For intermediate and advanced learners, lessons can include more natural conversation, topic-based discussions and practical vocabulary.

I provide personalised feedback and can also suggest review activities between lessons when helpful. I try to create a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. I also like to use topics that match each student’s interests, such as Korean culture, travel, everyday life, music, films or social topics, so that lessons feel more relevant and enjoyable.

For students who want more structure, I can plan lessons around clear weekly goals and regular review. For students who prefer conversation-focused learning, I can create speaking activities that help improve fluency, natural expressions and confidence.
