I much prefer to have 1-1 lessons as that way I can get a better grasp of the students level of understanding of the subject. This allows for a much more engaging session which will have the pace set by the student.
When it comes to content, I will be making a lot of use of online whiteboards which would make it somewhat more interactive as it would also allow students the be able to 'come up' to the whiteboard and point out the exact parts which they dont understand or are struggling with. In specific cases I can create powerpoint/videos depending on the topics and complexity.
Most of my previous experiences were all at University when I was working through my degree I had found that when describing and helping others understand certain topics, you also reinforce your own knowledge of that topic, as well as providing a great sense of self worth. What I aim to do is help others overcome the issues I had to, with that one friend they could rely on to know how to solve the problem.
