Hi! I’m Gustavo, a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker originally from Brazil, now based in London. I offer Portuguese lessons tailored to your goals, whether you’re starting from scratch, brushing up your conversational skills, or aiming for fluency.

My lessons are practical and dynamic. Rather than sitting through grammar lectures, we get into real dialogue from the start. One of the core methods I use is Q&A echo drilling, where you hear a question, process it, and respond, building your listening and speaking confidence at the same time. It sounds simple, but it’s one of the most effective ways to make the language stick.

Each session is built around you. I take time to understand what you want from the language, whether that’s travel, connecting with Brazilian culture, work, or just a personal goal, and then I shape the content around that. We work on vocabulary, pronunciation, everyday expressions, and grammar, but always in context, never in isolation.

I bring a real-world perspective to every lesson. I’ve lived and worked across different environments in the UK and Brazil, so I can give you language that actually sounds natural, not just textbook Portuguese.

I keep things relaxed and conversational because I believe people learn better when they’re not stressed. Progress is real when you feel comfortable making mistakes and trying again.
