I have experience in tutoring Year 6 students in English, and have helped other students throughout secondary school. As an A Level student, I have only recently studied for my GCSEs and will therefore be able to help any GCSE students succeed! I will happily adapt my teaching methods to the students’ individual needs in order to help them succeed. I am keen to help individual students create a study plan to track their progress and to allow me to work with them as effectively and efficiently as possible. It is important to enjoy your studying too! I absolutely adore studying English and learning all about the subject so I hope to convey this enthusiasm when working with students! I will try to make my lessons as enjoyable as possible in order to further students’ interest in the subject - this will hopefully allow them to progress faster and better than if they despised English. As a student myself, I can assure you that I empathise greatly with the stress and pressures many students feel; I have tried and tested many methods of dealing with this and I am more than happy to provide help with this as part of my teaching. Stressed students will not learn as effectively as calm students.
