My lessons are conversational, structured, and always tailored to you. We start with a short diagnostic conversation; I want to understand not just your current level, but your goals, your professional context, and the specific situations where you need English to work for you. From there, every lesson has a clear focus and a tangible takeaway.
I use real-world materials rather than textbook exercises; think articles, professional emails, speeches, policy documents, and case studies relevant to your field. If you're a corporate professional, we might work through how to chair a meeting or write a persuasive report. If you're in government or policy, we might focus on briefing language, public speaking, or communicating complex ideas simply and confidently to an international audience.
Sessions are interactive and genuinely two-way. I ask questions, challenge your thinking, introduce new vocabulary in context, and give honest, constructive feedback in real time. You will always leave a lesson knowing exactly what you did well and what to work on before the next session.
Between lessons, I provide short, focused exercises and resources so the learning continues beyond our time together, without it feeling like homework.
My experience spans adult learners, working professionals, and senior government leaders across Africa and Europe. I have co-designed and delivered an English fellowship programme in partnership with the University of Cambridge, and I hold a Master's degree in Linguistics from the University of Pretoria.
