I like to be able to sit down with you and allow you to explain to me what it is you struggle with.

I will go through a few basic questions related to the subject to find out your strengths and weaknesses in English.
I have found a technique that works with lots of children of all abilities is to create rhymes and poems associated to the topic we are learning to help you remember certain words and language techniques etc.
Our tutoring sessions will always be at your pace so you must never worry about having to rush through or get everything right at once! The key aspect to learning a new topic is to take your time and go over things so there is no rush!

I often bring a few different guides and go through them and let students choose which one they find most clear and helpful to go through. (Might even bring some silly pencils and rubbers).
I also like to reward students for each task they grip the hang of as I see it as a good incentive and motivator for them. Could be sweeties at the end of the week, a packet of new pencils, rubbers, something like that! But I find it is a fantastic motivation and allows children to feel acknowledged when they have crossed a milestone!
