As a final year politic student, I understand what examiners are looking for and how to help students develop the skills needed to achieve top grades. My lessons are structured, supportive and tailored to each individual students needs an exam board requirements. I teach GCSE and A-level English language, religious studies and GCSE drama, with a strong focus on essay writing, exam technique and confidence building.
In our first session, I assess the students current level, strengths and areas for improvement. From there, I create a clear plan focused on measurable progress. Lessons typically include breaking down key concepts in a clear and manageable way, modelling high-quality answers, practising structured exam questions, and providing detailed feedback. I placed particular emphasis on helping students structure arguments effectively, use subject specific terminology accurately and right analytical, well developed responses. Paragraph my academic background has strengthened my research, critical thinking and written communication skills, all of which I pass on to my students. I also have experience working in a legal administrative setting, which has developed my organisation, reliability and attention to detail. I impatient, approachable and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves.
