I am currently studying for my Master's degree having graduated my undergraduate in English in July 2025 - which means I know what it's like to be right in the midst of learning! This also means that I know from experience how many different ways of learning there are, and not everything works for everyone.
I have a range of experience in education from teaching year twos, to training 30 year olds, as well as being surrounded by fellow learners for the past four years. I am an adaptable and accommodating tutor willing to break the mould of typical learning to get the best results for each individual student.
I will take time to listen to your needs in our sessions and tailor your learning accordingly, whether that be getting you started with some quotation flashcards or putting down the pens and verbally investigating close analysis. I have over 10 consecutive years learning English at an advanced level and am confident that this is a subject that it is possible for any student to master - all it takes is a bit of energy and finding the interesting angles.
I have personal academic experience in a range of literature including Shakespeare, Du Maurier, and Woolf to name a few, but thanks to my literature degree I am no stranger to getting to grips with a new text quickly so can support on any A level or GCSE texts required.
If a tutor that doesn't just teach in a positive and open environment, but also unlocks your interests sounds like the right thing for you, get in touch and we can work together to plan your road to literary success!
