Goncalo Charneca

Welcome! My name is Gonçalo, and I’ve dedicated my life to sharing the joy of music through both performance and teaching. With years of experience as a gigging musician, I bring not only technical skill but also real-world insight into what it means to make music come alive on stage and in everyday life.

Over the course of my teaching career, I’ve had the privilege of working with students of all ages and backgrounds—from young beginners taking their very first steps to adults rediscovering their love for music. My lessons are tailored to each individual, drawing on a wide range of genres, including jazz, rock, pop, and beyond. This flexibility allows me to meet students where they are and guide them toward their personal goals, whether that’s preparing for an exam, performing confidently, or simply finding joy in playing.

What truly drives me is my deep passion and curiosity for music. I’m constantly exploring new sounds, styles, and approaches, and I love bringing that sense of discovery into lessons. For me, music is more than just notes on a page—it’s a way of expressing yourself, connecting with others, and sparking creativity.
