After moving to Tokyo, I taught dance and drama to children and adults; many of whom spoke no English, so I am very comfortable in teaching absolute beginners and have a love and respect for all cultures.
So often, the idea of learning and lessons is boring an dull, but learning never has to be like that.
I keep you inspired to learn by bringing you lessons that are relaxing as well as fun, and at an appropriate level for you.
Why not have a snack together, for example? Paint, or draw a picture describing and learning new words as we go?
There are so many ways to learn, and that may even mean listening to your favourite genre of music and analysing the lyrics: always age-appropriate, of course.
If you are a child, an adult is welcome to be present with you, and they may even like to join in!
I once invited a Hong Kong Chinese family to eat dinner altogether and speak in English. They came to me the next day saying they had never laughed so much over a meal. That brought me great joy as what is better than communication and laughter?
