Gloria Osemeke

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Literary Studies with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education, both degrees have aided my deep understanding of language structure, communication, teaching methods and effective instructional strategies.

In addition, I hold an IGCSE English as a Second Language certification and I am currently running a 120-hour TOEFL certification course, both of which has further enhanced my knowledge of second language acquisition and modern teaching methodologies tailored to learning.
My experience as an English teacher has allowed me to work with diverse learners, supporting them in developing confidence and competence across reading, writing, speaking and listening. In the course of my work, I have delivered structured lessons, adopted teaching styles and methods to suit my learner’s needs and provided constructive and ongoing feedback to help learners make good progress. This role has also boosted my ability to manage learning environments, create engaging lesson materials and foster a supportive and inclusive environment for learning.

As an aspiring English teacher, I am dedicated to creating lessons that are not only academically sound, but I aim to design learners-centered, enjoyable lessons that inspire active participation. I bring patience, empathy and strong communication skills to every lesson. I believe in fostering positive and inclusive environment where learners feel inspired to express themselves, take risks, and develop their English proficiency at their own pace.
